Baseball Recap: Junction City Comes Up Short

Junction City managed to slip by Eisenhower the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bluejays lost 11-1 to the Tigers on Tuesday. The Bluejays were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Junction City's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Eisenhower, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Junction City will take on Hays at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eisenhower, they will venture away from home to square off against Dodge City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Demons at the right time seeing as the Demons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
