Football Recap: Christ Presbyterian Academy Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Pearl-Cohn

Christ Presbyterian Academy faced Pearl-Cohn in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lions walked away with a 42-34 victory over the Firebirds. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Firebirds, too.

Christ Presbyterian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rawls Patterson, who rushed for 138 yards. Bradshaw Klym was in the mix too, providing the Lions with two scores.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Owen Cabell, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
