Basketball Game Preview: Llano Yellowjackets vs. Comfort Bobcats/Deer

Llano and Comfort are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Llano Yellowjackets will take on the Comfort Bobcats/Deer at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Llano will be strutting in after a win while Comfort will be coming in after a loss.

Llano is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 49-33 victory over Florence on Tuesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Llano to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Priem, who posted 16 points. Those 16 points gave Priem a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Peyton Parrish, who had 11 points.

Meanwhile, Comfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against Ingram Moore, falling 45-18.

Llano is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.0 points per game. As for Comfort, their loss dropped their record down to 7-17.

Everything came up roses for Llano against Comfort in their previous meeting on January 14th, as the squad secured a 42-10 win. In that contest, Llano amassed a halftime lead of 26-5, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
