Football Recap: Central Springs Piles Up the Points Against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura

Central Springs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 6, 2024 (when they won 46-6). They blew past the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals 50-14. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win made it two in a row for Central Springs and bumps their season record up to 3-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-6 Garner-Hayfield/Ventura and 1-4 Eagle Grove. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Central Springs will challenge Grundy Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they are taking a road trip to face off against Eagle Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
