It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westview can now relate to. They fell 21-17 to the Eastlake Titans on Friday. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Matthew Guimond threw for 215 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Josh Haney was his top target, picking up 87 receiving yards and one TD.

Tyler Balko looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 85 yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two).

Westview's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Eastlake, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Westview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastlake, they will square off against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.58 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
