Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. John). They took their match on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 63-34 victory over the Harding Skippers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Fighting Herald as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Harding lost, don't look at Jana Vale. Despite the final result, she posted 12 points. Anna Gamino also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

St. John's victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Harding, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16.

St. John has already played their next game (against Windham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Harding won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pymatuning Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Harding has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
