Football Game Preview: Timber Creek Regional Chargers vs. Burlington Township Falcons + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Zyeir Green and Aiden Binns are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Timber Creek Regional Chargers will challenge the Burlington Township Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Timber Creek Regional has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Burlington Township will arrive with nine straight wins.

Timber Creek Regional is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Washington Township on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Chargers had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Minutemen. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Minutemen are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Burlington Township owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. Everything went their way against Cinnaminson as they made off with a 21-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Timber Creek Regional's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Burlington Township, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.

Timber Creek Regional took a serious blow against Burlington Township in their previous meeting back in October of 2021, falling 32-0. Thankfully for the Chargers, Ju-Juan Lee (who rushed for 164 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
