While Huntsville's victory against Grissom wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tigers 7-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 two weeks ago.

Huntsville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Grissom, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12.

Coming up, Huntsville will challenge Sparkman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games the Senators have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Grissom, they will square off against Albertville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Aggies will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
