After a string of four wins, Old Fort's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Calvert Senecas. If the Stockaders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Senecas when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Old Fort took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-11, 25-19.

Marah Miller paced Old Fort's offense, picking up nine kills. Miller got some help from Lucy King and her 16 assists.

Old Fort's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Calvert, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Old Fort is set to take on their familiar foe St. Joseph Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Calvert will face off against rival Woodmore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
