Football Recap: Furr Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Furr played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 63-6 loss at the hands of the Hargrave Falcons. The Brahmans haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Drayden Bacon was a one-man wrecking crew For Hargrave. as he rushed for 159 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Bacon a new career-high. Nolan Cook was another key player, rushing for 46 yards and one score.

Furr's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hargrave, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Furr will face off against Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will give the Brahmans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Hargrave, they are taking a road trip to take on Splendora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
