Midtown faced St. Anne-Pacelli in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights skirted past the Vikings 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on four straight.

Abby Taylor was the offensive standout of the game as she had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven matchups. Estelle Leege also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Midtown's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 15-2 record.

Midtown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Columbus on the 23rd. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences on the 23rd.
