Volleyball Recap: Central Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Central Valley lost against Grace Davis back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hawks fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Valley took Grace Davis into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 22-25, 23-25, 19-17.

Kassandra Torres paced Central Valley's offense, picking up seven kills. Torres got some help from Gabriela Delatorre and her 13 assists. Sofia Garibay controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Grace Davis, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Central Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Pacheco at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Grace Davis will challenge rival Lathrop at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
