On Monday, it was close, but the Apple Valley Sun Devils ultimately received the gift of a 49-47 victory from a begrudging Sun Devils squad. The win made it back-to-back victories for they.

Apple Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trey Germany, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. Ethan Kimsey was another key player, putting up 12 points and five rebounds.

Apple Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two points across that stretch. As for Northview, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Apple Valley and Redlands East Valley will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Redlands East Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Apple Valley likes a good challenge. As for Northview, they will host Montclair at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
