Hope Romanello Game Report: vs Trumbull

Hope Romanello put up the most points she's had since back in December of 2023 on Saturday. She posted 12 points and five rebounds, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. Perhaps even more impressive was her lead-up to Saturday's match, in which she outscored her previous point total for three consecutive games.

Romanello and Newington will square off against Northwest Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Nor'easters got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Lions, probably because Romanello had a solid game then too: she put up eight points and 11 rebounds.
