San Juan has gone a perfect 6-0 against Emery recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Broncos will welcome the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. San Juan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 48.9 points per game this season.
San Juan took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Grand County 81-6. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

San Juan can attribute much of their success to Jagger Nieves, who gained 122 total yards and five touchdowns, and Beau Yeomans, who threw for 127 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Yeomans a new career-high in passer rating (166.7).
Special teams also played a big role in the game for San Juan, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Nieves, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to San Juan's defense and their eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Max Stearns and George McNaughtan, who racked up four sacks between them. Stearns has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, Emery lost 41-21 to South Sevier on Friday. While the Spartans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 14-7 in the first quarter.
Emery has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.3 points over those games. As for San Juan, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Everything came up roses for San Juan against Emery in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 60-14 victory. In that contest, the Broncos amassed a halftime lead of 34-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
