Softball Recap: Superior Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Superior was the 6-3 winner over San Manuel when they last played one another back in May of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Superior fell 10-6 to San Manuel on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly four runs.

Superior saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lessenia Ramirez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Stephanie Lopez was another, going 2-for-5 with one triple.

Superior's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3. As for San Manuel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Superior Panthers challenge Ray Bearcats at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Ray has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.29 runs per game on average), something Superior will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for San Manuel, they will challenge Hayden at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
