Basketball Recap: Otis Bulldogs vs. Idalia Wolves
In Friday's Canine Competition, Otis had to take the L. They took a hard 50-35 fall against the Idalia Wolves on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-36 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Otis still got an impressive performance from Aedyn Tribelhorn, who posted 16 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. The dominant performance gave Tribelhorn a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Willeke, who had 12 points along with eight boards and five steals.
Idalia's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylyn Kechter, who went 5 of 12 en route to 12 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks. Tatum Soehner was another key player, going 5 for 10 on her way to 12 points and six boards.
Otis dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Idalia, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
