Stark has gone 9-1 against Hanover recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Stark lost 3-0 to ConVal on Wednesday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Hanover faced Milford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Bears fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost five in a row.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Hanover sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-27, 25-19, 22-25, 15-9.

Stark will have to keep a close watch on Olivia Grabinski and Claire Starosta, a pair of players who had a big impact on Hanover's prior game. Grabinski had 39 assists and four digs, while Starosta had 11 kills, six digs, three blocks, and two aces. Starosta has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last five times she's played.

Stark's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Hanover, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 10-2.

Stark came up short against Hanover when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Generals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
