Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Oglesby walked away with it. They never let the Abbott Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on nine straight.

The result came thanks to Tucker Melton's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jakson Tippit, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Oglesby's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Abbott, they moved to 14-10-1 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Oglesby nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
