Soccer Game Preview: Tri-State Christian vs. East Moline Christian

The Tri-State Christian Huskies will square off against the East Moline Christian Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Faith Christian who was credited with the victory on Friday. The Falcons got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to Tri-State Christian's one. Tri-State Christian have struggled against Faith Christian recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Tri-State Christian's goal came courtesy of Ella Hilborn, who's now up to 11 this season.

East Moline Christian is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Quad Cities Christian.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tri-State Christian fell to 7-1. As for East Moline Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Tri-State Christian took their win against East Moline Christian in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 5-0 score. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
