Volleyball Recap: Tough Loss for Salam

Salam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-3, 25-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Palmyra-Eagle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maddie Geppert, who had 14 assists, five digs, and two aces. Another player making a difference was Madison Roy, who had five kills and five aces.

Salam has now lost five of their last six games on the road. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. Palmyra-Eagle (18-16) has now won five in a row.

Salam does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Palmyra-Eagle and Randolph will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
