Softball Recap: Millennium Has No Trouble Against Delta Charter

Millennium won the last time they faced Delta Charter and things went their way on Monday too. The Millennium Falcons blew past the Delta Charter Dragons 11-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

The team relied heavily on Lanie Gonzalez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Nora Coutts, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Millennium's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Delta Charter, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Millennium wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-1 win against Elliot Christian on the 19th. As for Delta Charter, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Venture Academy at 3:00 p.m.
