Softball Recap: Brewster Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

Brewster came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Tonasket Tigers as they made off with a 16-7 win. This was payback for the Bears, who suffered a 24-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Brewster pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Tonasket, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Brewster beat the Tigers by a score of 17-15 later that day.
