Soccer Game Preview: Hebron vs. Little Elm

The Hebron Hawks will head out to take on the Little Elm Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hebron is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Hebron is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Texas' top teams: Guyer, who was ranked 14th at the time (Hebron was ranked 19th). Everything went Hebron's way against Guyer on Tuesday as Hebron made off with a 4-0 win. The score was close at the half, but the Hawks pulled away in the second half with three goals.

They hit Guyer with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zoe Puente, Leah Simpson, Jordan Hill, and Makayla Aranda.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Little Elm's offense. They lost 6-0 to Coppell on Tuesday. The Lobos have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Little Elm now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Hebron, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Everything went Hebron's way against Little Elm in their previous meeting back in January, as Hebron made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hebron since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
