Football Game Preview: Ridgewood Maroons vs. Livingston Lancers + How To Watch

The Ridgewood Maroons will head out on the road to face off against the Livingston Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ridgewood is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Wayne Valley on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Maroons lost 42-20 to the Indians. The Maroons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gavin McCrone, who rushed for 89 yards and one score, and also threw for 110 yards on 14 of 25 attempts. Brody Perrapato was another key rusher, rushing for 59 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Meanwhile, Livingston came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Mounties by a score of 49-39.

Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Livingston, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
