Miami Christian scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Pine Crest Panthers an easy 79-59 victory. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (56), the Victors still had to take the loss.

Miami Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Pine Crest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Florida Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Miami Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Pine Crest, they and Palmer Trinity will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Pine Crest knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Palmer Trinity likes a good challenge.
