MCC entered their tilt with Islamic Foundation on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Chargers. Surprisingly, this marked the Crescents' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant MCC was: they took both sets by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-8.

MCC's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Islamic Foundation, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 8-2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: MCC beat the Chargers by a score of 2-0 later that day.
