Soccer Game Preview: Northridge vs. Amanda-Clearcreek

The Northridge Vikings will square off against the Amanda-Clearcreek Aces at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northridge has given up an average of 2.8 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Northridge came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Johnstown-Monroe, falling 5-1. Northridge's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Drake Gokenbach, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Amanda-Clearcreek was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and Bloom-Carroll finished up their match with a 2-2 draw.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-2. Amanda-Clearcreek's draw makes their record 8-6-3 this season.
