Badger has gone a perfect 10-0 against Maplewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Braves will venture away from home to square off against the Rockets at 11:00 a.m. Maplewood took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Badger, who comes in off a win.

Badger had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Newton Falls on Thursday. The Braves put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 6-1 win. Badger might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Maplewood came up short against Bristol on Friday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Maplewood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 435th, while Bristol are ranked 200th).

Maplewood's goal came courtesy of Claire Urchek, who's now up to two this season.

Badger's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Maplewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1.

Everything went Badger's way against Maplewood in their previous matchup back in September, as Badger made off with a 7-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
