El Dorado Christian is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Chanute Christian: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that El Dorado Christian blew Chanute Christian out of the water with a 41-14 final score. The Buffalos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.
El Dorado Christian found their leader in sophomore McKenzie Cole, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Cole has scored at least a third of El Dorado Christian's points. Sadie Watkins was another key player, putting up nine points.
El Dorado Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 30 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 23 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Eagle are ranked 423rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Christian Learning Center's win came from a few key players El Dorado Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Micah Bean, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addison Martin, who went 7 of 12 en route to 15 points.
Christian Learning Center's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for El Dorado Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: El Dorado Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 39.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Christian Learning Center struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.8 rebounds.
