Sophia Simpson (Texas), the Eagles beat Aledo 4-1 back on June 5 to capture the state title.

Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton) was one of the country's top hitting teams. Coach T.J. Goelz's squad averaged over 10 runs per game and will be in the discussion for preseason No. 1 in 2022.
