Softball Recap: Lathrop Malemutes vs. Delta Huskies

Lathrop had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Delta Huskies by a score of 7-6 on Friday. Lathrop has struggled against Delta recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

For Delta's part, Zoe Moore made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Moore was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
