Lumberton waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hoke County Bucks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Tuesday.

Lumberton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-11, 25-16, 25-20.

Lumberton's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Hoke County, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.
