Volleyball Recap: STEM School Highlands Ranch Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Sheridan last Thursday, STEM School Highlands Ranch came back down to earth. The Spartans fell just short of the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 8th.

Elizabeth (Lizzy) Hegemann paced STEM School Highlands Ranch's offense, picking up four kills. Hegemann got some help from Evelyn (Evie) Grubb and her 11 assists.

STEM School Highlands Ranch now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Golden View Classical Academy, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-12.

STEM School Highlands Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Aurora West College Prep Academy on the 1st. As for Golden View Classical Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ascent Classical Academy on the 1st.
