Basketball Game Preview: Windsor Dukes vs. Southampton Indians

Windsor is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech by a score of 58-48 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Southampton entered their tilt with Surry County on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They enjoyed a cozy 72-54 win over the Cougars. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Cougars are ranked 436th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southampton pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Windsor, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14.
