Softball Recap: Meridian Comes Up Short

Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 24-0 to the Sedro-Woolley Cubs. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 17-0 to the Cubs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Sedro-Woolley, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Meridian has already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Bellingham on the 1st. As for Sedro-Woolley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-0 victory against Mt. Baker on the 1st.
