MARLOW, Okla. - A big 28-point first quarter helped carry the Bronchos to a 47-0 victory over Macomb (Okla.) on Saturday.
Central scored on a
Kade Taylor touchdown pass to
Kevin Harris, a Harris touchdown run, a touchdown run by
Deekota Williams and a punt return touchdown by
John Repp in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a Taylor touchdown pass to Harris in the first quarter, CHS was up 41-0 at the half.
The Marlow school grew its lead to 47 points entering the fourth quarter. The Bronchos' lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by
Michael Mays.
The Bronchos raced to 28 in the first quarter alone and kept up the pace for the win.
A 59-13 Central victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The win brought Central's winning streak to three games.
Central (3-0) goes up against Allen in a B District 2 (8 Man) game matchup next week, while Macomb (0-3) locks horns with Paoli also in a B District 2 (8 Man) game.
