After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jordan, Tompkins was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Waller Bulldogs 8-7. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 7-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.
The win got Tompkins back to even at 1-1. As for Waller, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Coming up, Tompkins will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Fulshear at 4:30 p.m. As for Waller, they will head out on the road to face off against Randle at 11:15 a.m. on Friday.
