 Palm Beach Central is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Cardinal Newman is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Palm Beach Central Broncos will take on the Cardinal Newman Crusaders at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Palm Beach Central can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  43-3 victory over Wellington on the road. Given Palm Beach Central's advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings  (they are ranked 61st, while Wellington is ranked 425th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Palm Beach Central can attribute much of their success to   Leon Williams, who rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and   Zequan Wright, who rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Williams was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run  that went for 55 yards.  Waden Charles also helped out with an impressive 82  receiving yards.
 Meanwhile, Cardinal Newman sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a  17-14  win over Benjamin  two weeks ago.
 Cardinal Newman found their leader in underclassman  Dylan Bennett, who rushed for 65 yards and  a touchdown.
 Palm Beach Central's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Cardinal Newman, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
