Softball Recap: Pearl Takes a Loss

Pearl lost against Clinton on March 6th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Pearl came up short against Clinton, falling 15-7. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Lauryn Lee made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and one double.

Pearl's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Clinton, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.

Looking ahead, Pearl will take on Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton, they will square off against Starkville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
