Softball Recap: Tampa Bay Tech Comes Up Short

If Tampa Bay Tech was feeling good fresh off their 31-7 takedown of King last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans lost 17-7 to the Robinson Knights on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 6-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Janyyah W was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. India D was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Tampa Bay Tech has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Robinson, their record is now 7-10.
