Baseball Recap: Ribault Comes Up Short

Ribault came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the ED White Commanders, falling 26-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Commanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Tuesday.

Jayden Villatoro made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and earned one run and three stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Elijah James, who earned one run and two stolen bases.

Ribault's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for ED White, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Ribault will venture away from home to challenge Stanton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for ED White, they will head out to square off against Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Commanders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
