Soccer Game Preview: Eastlake vs. North Creek

The Eastlake Wolves will head out on the road to challenge the North Creek Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Eastlake is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Bothell/Inglemoor just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, North Creek has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 17. They and Mercer Island finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Thursday. The result (or lack thereof) marked North Creek's first draw of the season.

Eastlake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. With that draw, North Creek's record moves to 2-4-1.

Eastlake came up short against North Creek in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
