Marquette waltzed into their game on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They walked away with a 52-43 victory over the Menominee Maroons. The 52-point effort marked the Redmen's lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Marquette pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Menominee, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marquette will face off against Gladstone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Menominee, they will challenge Iron Mountain at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Iron Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Menominee likes a good challenge.
