Basketball Recap: Valders Comes Up Short

Valders has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 57-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oconto Blue Devils on Friday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Valders' loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Oconto, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

When Valders and Oconto next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Valders will face off against Brillion and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Oconto will try to stop Wittenberg-Birnamwood's 18-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
