Recap: Westside Christian Academy Eagles vs. Horizon Science Academy
On Thursday, Westside Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Horizon Science Academy, but they still walked away with a 54-49 win.
Leading Westside Christian Academy to victory were Calvin Cottenden and Nate Taylor. Cottenden scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Taylor scored 15 points along with seven assists and four steals. Taylor has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Guertin, who scored five points along with ten rebounds.
Westside Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Horizon Science Academy, they have fallen quite a ways from their 10-3 record last season and are now at 1-3.
