Volleyball Recap: St. Ursula Academy Takes a Loss

St. Ursula Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Marian Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Arrows of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.

St. Ursula Academy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-11. As for Marian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 28-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Ursula Academy will face off against St. Joseph Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brighton at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
