It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hubbertville had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Addison Bulldogs, posting an 82-47 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 21 points or more this season.
Hubbertville found their leader in sophomore Cole Brand, who went 6 of 8 from beyond the arc to rack up 28 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brand has scored all season. Kane Rushing was another key player, going 8 for 14 en route to 20 points and six boards.
Hubbertville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.
