Softball Recap: Hardee Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winter Haven, Hardee was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 13-9 victory over the North Port Bobcats. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Elida Ramirez was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lunna Guajardo, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Hardee's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for North Port, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Hardee will head out to face off against Lake Placid at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Port, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Oasis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sharks will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
