Softball Recap: Lower Merion Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Lower Merion's offense. They came up short against the Ridley Raiders on Saturday, falling 10-0. The Aces haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lower Merion saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evyn Robinson, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Lower Merion's loss dropped their record down to 7-12-1. As for Ridley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lower Merion will square off against Upper Darby at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ridley, they will face off against Interboro at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Buccaneers will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
